Rapper has also previewed new album 'Daytona', which features a Kanye verse
Pusha T has opened up about his stance on Kanye West‘s political views, revealing that he’s “totally against” them and disagrees with West “all the time”. He also suggested that Kanye’s point of view becomes “clearer and better” on his upcoming album.
Pusha, who has collaborated with Kanye numerous times and is the President of the rapper’s GOOD Music label, recently spoke in an interview with Angie Martinez, saying: “It’s just another one of many things we disagree on. We disagree all the time. It’s just a stance that I have. I’m totally against it.”
Of Kanye’s upcoming record, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’, Pusha said: “He’s definitely going to show everybody that he’s always going to be on the next level of music, that’s what he’s on right now.”
Asked whether West’s views are reflected in his music, Push replied: “He’s speaking on a lot on this album. And I feel like he even speaks it clearer and messages it clearer and better through the music. That’s where you can see a bit of, like, okay you’re asking these questions and saying these things to get this type of emotion or answer for something else. I feel like it’s better there, let it live in the music.”
