More big names join Oxegen Festival bill

QOTSA and Avril Lavigne are among those joining the party

Queens Of The Stone Age, Rufus Wainwright and Avril Lavigne are among the acts who have been added to the bill for this year’s Oxegen Festival in Ireland.

The bash takes place over the weekend of July 7 and 8 at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare.

Other acts newly confirmed to play are Air, Enter Shikari, The Maccabees, Ocean Colour Scene, The Pigeon Detectives, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Bright Eyes, Dizzee Rascal, Gogol Bordello, Jamie T, Little Man Tate, The Long Blondes, The Saw Doctors and Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars.

The acts will join the already-announced acts who include Muse, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, The Killers, Razorlight, Arcade Fire and Amy Winehouse.
