The band are recording even more songs…
Queens Of The Stone Age have revealed further details of their forthcoming new album.
The band have confirmed that the new LP will come out in March 2005, with the band re-entering the studio at the end of October to record two more songs.
In a posting on the band’s website www.qotsa.com, a source close to the band said: “Because the record isn’t coming out just yet, Queens Of The Stone Age has decided to record two new songs in addition to the 18 already completed.
“Two new songs just came up and the boys did not want to wait for the record after this to record them. They feel like the weight of the wait until March is already a long enough wait for them to wait.”
The tracks are expected to be called ’The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died’ and ’Don’t Need A Name’.
As previously reported on NME.COM, [a][/a] singer Josh Homme was spotted last week with ex-bandmate Nick Oliveri.
