Josh Homme will have to enrol in rehab and an anger management program…

Queens Of The Stone Age singer JOSH HOMME has been sentenced following a fight with DWARVES singer BLAG DAHLIA last November.

Homme pleaded no contest to two counts of misdemeanour battery stemming from an attack on Dahlia at a Dwarves show in Los Angeles and has been placed on summary probation for thirty six months.

The star has also been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Dahlia and the Dragonfly club – where the incident took place – to not possess deadly weapons, to perform community service and to enrol in both an anger management program and a sixty-day residential rehab facility.

According to Rollingstone.com, in exchange for Homme’s plea, two other charges were dropped.

Witnesses to the attack claim that Homme turned up backstage and poured a bottle of beer over Dahlia’s head while singing “Whatcha gonna do?”.

Dahlia went on to play a gig after which his wife drove him to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center where he was given stitches. Though police were not called at the time, Homme was removed from the venue by security and Dahlia pressed charges on December 29.

Homme is set to return to the Hollywood Courthouse, Division 79, on July 27 to prove that he enrolled in both anger management and rehab.
