CHRIS GOSS CRITICAL BUT STABLE

But the man behind the Desert Sessions is stable...

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE associate CHRIS GOSS is recovering after being rushed to hospital over the Christmas holiday.

Goss, who has produced and played with Josh Homme since his days with Kyuss, suffered an internal infection according to his band’s website, mastersofreality.com. He was listed in critical condition in a California desert hospital until Monday (December 27).

“After ten days of drifting in and out of consciousness, Chris [has] finally begun to stabilize,” reads a statement on the Queens of the Stone Age website. “Although he is not out of the woods, it seems he’s starting to heal.”

Goss’ desert studio is the base for Homme’s Desert Sessions project, and is singer and guitarist with his own group, The Masters Of Reality.
