Josh Homme doesn't have a spare minute to himself these days...

Queens Of The Stone Age singer JOSH HOMME has said he’s going to score a new computer game.

The singer is currently celebrating the release of the band’s new album ’ Lullabies To Paralyze’, which is headed towards the top of the charts this weekend.

Speaking to MTV news in the US, Homme said that in addition to the new material from Queens Of The Stone Age, and the forthcoming second record by his side project Eagles Of Death Metal, he was working on another project.

He revealed: “[I’m] writing the music for a game called ‘Spec Ops’. There’s a bunch of versions of new songs. Some of them are mellow, some of them are rock and some of them are, like, hick-hop because we’re a bunch of white guys.

“I can’t play any video games when we’re on tour or in the studio because then I would get addicted. And I don’t need any more addictions. But the whole thing was great because it was so easy. It’s way easier than writing a song, because with video-game music, everything just needs to be, like, 30 seconds long.”

The game could be released before the end of the year.
