Queens Of The Stone Age will support Foo Fighters at their London warm-up show for the CARLING WEEKEND FESTIVALS.
The band will support the Foo Fighters at the London Stratford Rex on August 24, the night before the Foos play the main stage at the Reading leg of the Carling Weekend Festival on August 25. The band then go on to play the Glasgow Green Festival (26), before finishing with the second leg of the Carling Weekend in Leeds on August 28.
Queens Of The Stone Age also play at the Carling Weekend, scheduled to headline the Carling Premier Stage in Reading (August 26) and Leeds (27).
Before that, the Queens play a pair of UK dates this week, calling at the Leeds Cockpit tomorrow night (21) and Glasgow Cathouse (22). They then release a new single, ‘The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret’ on August 7 through Interscope, with an album, ‘Rated R’ to follow on August 28.
The band will return to the UK for more live dates in September.
