Hey, rock'n'roll - the band can't play because of "scheduling difficulties"...

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE have pulled out of the GOLD COAST BIG DAY OUT festival in AUSTRALIA due to scheduling difficulties.

The US rockers were due to play at the first date of the festival on January 21, but it has now emerged that they are unable to play this show in addition to a previously confirmed date at the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil later this month.

A statement released to Rolling Stone in Australia said that “the band and promoters have come to the mutual decision that the time-frame is too tight and the trip is too dangerous”.
