QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE will be supported at their sold out LONDON ASTORIA show tonight (November 22) by AB/CD an AC/DC tribute band.
Queens’ original support band Backyard Babies were forced to pull out at the last minute because, in a bizarre twist, the real AC/DC called for their help.
Backyard Babies are supporting the veteran metal monsters on their ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ World Tour, and when an extra date was added at the last minute in Vienna tonight they decided to remain to fill out the bill.
They will, though, head to London to support Queens during their second Astoria show tomorrow night.
AC/DC, meanwhile, begin a five date tour of the UK in Birmingham’s NEC Arena on November 28.
