Queens of the Stone Age delivered a reworking of their ‘Villains’ single ‘The Way You Used To Do’ as part of a special acoustic set in Tasmania earlier this month – watch a new performance video of the track below.

The band have just rounded off the final leg of their world tour in Australia and New Zealand, with the tour including a special stop at the MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) in Hobart on September 3.

During the one-off set – which was held as a benefit concert which generated $10,000 (a total matched by frontman Josh Homme’s own Sweet Stuff Foundation) towards a total of $20,000 to support the Royal Hobart Hospital Paediatrics Ward – QOTSA performed an acoustic version of ‘The Way You Used To Do’.

Following the benefit show, the members of QOTSA visited the Royal Hobart Hospital Paediatrics Ward the following day to present the donation to the hospital, as well as gifts to its patients.

With QOTSA’s world tour now complete, Homme’s focus has returned to hosting The Alligator Hour with Joshua Homme on Beats 1 on Apple Music.

The third season of the radio show premiered on Tuesday (September 11), with another new episode expected today.
