Quentin Tarantino reportedly had a face off with two burglars on Sunday night as they attempted to break into his Hollywood home.
The legendary film director is believed to have been relaxing at home when he heard two men enter his home through the back window.
After confronting the pair they immediately fled his home, but not before stealing Tarantino’s jewellery and other prized items.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department hope to survey the surveillance footage from Tarantino’s neighbourhood in an attempt to catch the culprits.
Although Tarantino is yet to confirm the intrusion, it comes only weeks after he married model Daniella Pick last month.
The pair dated from 2009, before the film icon proposed to Pick last summer.
Revealing the proposal, Pick wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for all the love. We’re so excited and happy to celebrate our engagement here in Israel. Thanks for your kind wishes. We feel truly blessed.”
Meanwhile, Tarantino recently wrapped shooting on ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’, his follow up to 2015’s ‘The Hateful Eight’.
The crime mystery is set against the backdrop of Sharon Tate’s murder in 1960s Los Angeles and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt as two TV stars on a quest to make their name in the film industry.
