The rapper gets court approval to travel to New York for a live show later this month...

R KELLY has been given permission to leave the state of ILLINOIS and travel to NEW YORK for a live show.

Due to his pending court appearances on child pornography charges, the rapper is not allowed to travel outside of the state without permission from the court.

According to Billboard, Judge Vincent Gaughan granted Kelly’s request to leave Illinois between November 12-19.

He is due in court on December 20, and has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
