Band treated fans at New York City's Madison Square Garden to a rare rendition of the 'OK Computer' classic
Radiohead played ‘Let Down’ live for the first time since 2006 last night (July 26).
The band treated fans to the ‘OK Computer’ classic during the first of their two gigs at New York City’s famous Madison Square Garden venue, slipping it into their setlist right at the start of their first encore.
“Holy s**t,” wrote the fan who posted footage of the unexpected ‘Let Down’ performance to YouTube – watch below.
As part of the series of vignettes that have accompanied the release of latest album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, the five-piece are asking fans to submit their own visual countributions to the project. A number of short clips have already been directed by the likes of Richard Ayoade, Ben Wheatley and Adam Buxton, and now Radiohead fans are being encouraged to get creative.
Posting on their Instagram earlier this month, the band have also released a one-minute-long string version of the album’s second single, ‘Daydreaming’, which will serve as the soundtrack for the winner of the fan-made video competition. Once all of the entries are in, Radiohead will pick the winner and post it to their official site.
