Radiohead and Britney Spears failing to break Adele’s UK chart stranglehold

'21' outselling 'The King Of Limbs' and 'Femme Fatale'

Adele looks set to hold off Radiohead in the UK albums chart this Sunday (April 3)

Midweek figures reveal that her Number One album ’21’ has sold 42,000 copies so far this week (beginning March 28), compared to Radiohead‘s 16,000 for ‘The King Of Limbs’.

The latter album was released physically yesterday (March 28) following its online release in February.

Meanwhile Britney Spears‘ new album ‘Femme Fatale’ is third in the midweeks, ahead of Adele‘s debut album ’19’.

In the singles chart Adele‘s ‘Someone Like You’ is likely to be knocked from the Number One position by Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull‘s ‘On The Floor’.
