Thom Yorke and co e-mail 'In Rainbows' info to fans
Radiohead have sent an e-mail out to fans who have registered to buy their new album, ‘In Rainbows’, tomorrow morning (October 10).
The e-mail states that tomorrow morning fans will be e-mailed an activation code which will take downloaders straight to the album download page.
The e-mail goes on to explain that the album will be downloaded as a 48.4mb ZIP file containing ten MP3s.
The MP3s will not be coded with DRM – software that prevents further copying and e-mailing of digital music files.
This will mean that fans will be able to make as many copies of ‘In Rainbows’ as they want, and e-mail files to friends.
Check back on NME.COM tomorrow morning at 10:00 BST for the first track-by-track guide to the new Radiohead album.
