NME readers give their verdict on Radiohead's comeback track
The band unveiled a stop-motion video for the song, which will be released on all digital services from Wednesday (May 4). The song/video follow recent rumours about a possible new Radiohead album coming soon.
Fan response to ‘Burn The Witch’ has been mostly favourable online, with the track described as “amazing” and “fantastic”. One NME reader said that it “sounds [like a] hark back to the early days” of the band.
However, other reviews were not so positive. One fan summed up their response to the track as: “Solid. Hoping for better”.

The band’s rumoured new album will be their first since 2011’s ‘The King of Limbs’.
During a talk in April, Brian Message, a partner of Radiohead’s management company, reportedly revealed that the band’s new album will be released in June.
Radiohead’s long-time visual collaborator Stanley Donwood said earlier this year (March) that he has heard the band’s new album, describing the LP as “a work of art”, though he also said at the time that the record is not yet finished.
