Director Paul Thomas Anderson sends music video to select theatres

Radiohead‘s new music video is showing in select cinemas across America.

The Paul Thomas Anderson directed ‘Daydreaming’ video was sent to a limited number of of cinemas this weekend with Pitchfork reporting that establishments in Austin, Chicago and Los Angeles all confirming that they received the video on 35mm film.

Copies of the video sent out by the director come with a label that reads, “We’ve made a film, here it is. We’d be happy if you played it!” Watch the video, which shows Thom Yorke wandering through an underground car park, below.

Radiohead shared ‘Daydreaming’ on Friday and confirmed that the whole record will be out later today (May 8).

The as yet untitled album will be released at 7PM tonight. It will include new song ‘Daydreaming’ and ‘Burn The Witch’.

The new album will then be released physically on June 17. Special edition and standard pre-orders are available from Radiohead’s new album will be their first since 2011’s ‘The King of Limbs’.
