The first dates in Sydney and Melbourne sell out almost immediately...

RADIOHEAD have extended their Australian tour after the first dates sold out.

The band recently announced details of gigs in Sydney and Melbourne, which sold out. Phone lines and online sales sites were blocked for hours this morning (November 3) as fans from across the country scrambled for tickets.

Within minutes of the shows going on sale, both venues announced second dates to cope with the interest of fans desperate to see Radiohead in their first tour to the country since 1998.

The band play: Sydney Entertainment Centre (April 23-24)

Melbourne Rod Laver Arena (April 26-27)
