After being hit by more setbacks, the Radiohead-headlined bash near NYC could be moving elsewhere...

FIELD DAY promoters have just three days to find a new site for the NEW YORK festival, after they were hit by a double-blow of resistance.

Hours after the New York State Police informed the Suffolk County health department that they would not be able to send troopers to help control crowds and traffic, the Riverhead Town Board decided that more decisions had to be made before the promoters could be granted a special permit.

These setbacks, coupled with the denial of approval last week by Suffolk County, have led promoter Andrew Dreskin to seek out other venues. The Giants Stadium is the most likely candidate.

Talking to Newsday, Chris Kent, an attorney for Dreskin said, “We don’t have a formal commitment to stage a concert anywhere.”

The festival, proposed to take place in Calverton Enterprise Park between June 7 – 8, boasts a line-up featuring Radiohead, N.E.R.D, [a][/a] and Blur.
