Radiohead have announced another festival appearance for the summer with the news that they will headline Lollapalooza Berlin.
Lollapalooza Berlin will return to the German capital for its second year having launched in 2015. It will be held at Treptower Park, Berlin between September 10-11.
With its original incarnation running in North America from 1991-1997, Lollapalooza relaunched in 2005, since organising overseas editions in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, as well as Berlin.
Radiohead will headline the Sunday leg of the 2016 event. Also announced are Kings of Leon, New Order, Jess Glynne, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Major Lazer, The 1975, James Blake, Years & Years and others.

It is the latest in a string of confirmed European appearances for Radiohead, who have also announced a headline slot at Primavera Sound, Spain and appearances at NOS Alive Portugal, Secret Solstice in Reykjavik and OpenAir St Gallen Festival in Switzerland.
The band recently confirmed a number of headline slots across North America this summer, including the Chicago edition of Lollapalooza, San Francisco’s Outside Lands and Montreal’s Osheaga Music Festival.
The tour dates are the latest news for what’s set to be a busy 2016 for the band, amid reports that a new LP will be released this year, their first since 2011’s ‘King of Limbs’.
Speaking last year, guitarist Jonny Greenwood confirmed that “lots has been recorded” for the album and that Radiohead hoped to tour the record throughout 2016.
