RADIOHEAD are leading the race to knock STAIND from the top of the US album chart, according to reports from the States.

Music website DailyDouble reports that, based on first-day sales, Staind‘s two-week reign at the top of the charts with ‘Break The Cycle’ could be ended by either Radiohead or St Lunatics‘s ‘Free City’.

Radiohead‘s ‘Amnesiac’ was released worldwide this week and had a slight edge over the competition after going on sale in the US on Tuesday (June 5).

As reported elsewhere on NME.COM, they have clinched the Number One spot in the UK album charts, outselling Shaggy almost three-to-one.

The band’s ‘Later With Jools Holland’ special hour-and-a-half long live set will be broadcast live on the Internet, in addition to being broadcast on the BBC show live, from 10.30pm to 12 midnight.

Virtue TV has four hidden links for the “secret webcast,” which must be collected to get access to the webcast at 10.20pm.

The first link is http://www.virtuetv.com/clients/emi/radiohead/radio/radio_sowbcoqn22108_2.ht
