RADIOHEAD‘s

UK ‘club tour’ has sold out – and already tickets are being sold for enormous sums on the Internet.

As we reported over the weekend, the band have announced their first tour of British indoor venues in six years. The shows start on May 17 in Dublin, ending up with a two night residency at the London Shepherds Bush Empire (24-25).

Within hours of announcing details in a mailing to the band’s e-mail list, most of the shows completely sold out, leaving those without tickets to search auction websites like Ebay in the hope of getting lucky.

As NME.COM went to press, each ticket was changing hands upwards of £100 each, four times the face value.

This week’s NME, which is out on Wednesday nationwide (March 19), features a competition to win tickets to see a Radiohead on their UK tour.
