Glastonbury looks even more likely with the news the band are touring in June...
RADIOHEAD‘s headline slot at GLASTONBURY looks one step closer with the news the band are playing two festivals in Germany just before the event.
The group are currently mixing their new album, which has been given the working titles ‘2+2=5’ and ‘Are You Listening?’, and a tentative release date of June 16.
The band have been strongly rumoured to be showcasing the record with a high profile headline slot at the festival that they last played in 1997.
Now, Radiohead have announced they will be touring in June, and will headline the Southside Festival and Hurricane Festival in Germany on June 20 and 22 respectively. They wil also play the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden on June 13.
This year’s Glastonbury is set to run over the weekend of June 27-29.
Tickets for the German dates go on sale today via the websites www.hurricane.de and www.southside.de.
