Radiohead studio photos emerge, suggesting recording of album nine is underway

Drummer Phillip Selway had previously said the band hope to have the album finished in autumn

Composer Robert Ziegler – who was a key part in the recording of Radiohead‘s last album ‘The King of Limbs’ – has posted photos of members of Radiohead from inside a studio to his social media accounts.

Earlier this week, drummer Phillip Selway had said that the ninth studio album might be finished come autumn, though no substantial information about what will be the band’s first album since 2011 has emerged yet. Selway had earlier suggested that the album probably wouldn’t be out during 2015.

Ziegler’s photos show an orchestral set-up, as well as bandmembers Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and producer Nigel Godrich in conversation in a studio environment.

Talking earlier this week, Selway said: “We’ve got quite a busy autumn coming up. We want to finish a record and that’s where we’re at. We’re just launching ourselves into it.”

He added: “Being asked about Radiohead never becomes a tiresome question; the fact that people are still interested, that can only be a wonderful thing.”
