NME.COM lets you know when you can get your hands on a copy of 'Amnesiac'...

The new RADIOHEAD album ‘AMNESIAC’ will be released in the UK on June 4, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

A spokeperson for Radiohead in Britain confirmed the release date after a series of overseas websites revealed the news on the Internet.

According to a number of unofficial Radiohead websites, EMI in France were first to disclose the release date of ‘Amnesiac’, Radiohead’s fifth album, as June 4. Rolling Stone in Australia have claimed the album will be released on the same date in their country also.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Radiohead mainman Thom Yorke has described ‘Amnesiac’ as “the sound of what it feels like to be in the fire”. He said: “It’s about the things you forget. And remembering…if you look at the artwork for ‘Kid A’, well that’s the fire from afar. ‘Amnesiac’ is the sound of what it feels like to be standing in the fire.”
