RADIOHEAD ON COURSE FOR DUBLIN

Radiohead, who make their long-awaited return to the live arena tonight (June 13) in FRANCE, are poised to add a DUBLIN date to their autumn tour.

A spokesperson for promoters of the gig, which will take place at Punchestown Racecourse, said the date is likely to be confirmed by the end of the week, and press reports in Ireland indicate that it could be October 7.

The UK dates announced last week are: Newport Tredegar House (September 1, 2) London Tower Hamlets Victoria Park (23, 24, 25) Glasgow Green (September 28, 29) Warrington Cheshire Victoria Park (October 1, 2, 3)

Meanwhile Radiohead are gearing up for their first gig in 18 months at Theatre Antique D’Arles, in the south of France tonight. Anticipation is mounting already, and nme.com has joined the legions of fans in the town to bring the very first on-the-spot reports of the gig as it happens.
