The BBC Introducing stage highlights up-and-coming talent, with Jake Bugg and Spector among the artists to have previously been showcased at the Reading and Leeds festivals.
The lineup for the BBC Introducing stage is as follows:
All We Are
The Bulletproof Bomb
Heavy Petting Zoo
John J Presley
Judge And The Jury
Shambles In A Husk
“BBC Introducing are delighted to be bringing our stage to the Festival for another year,” said Jason Carter, Head of Live Music & Events at BBC Popular Music. “Over the past few years it has been fantastic to see bands that have been completely unknown move up the stage at the Festival, right up to the main stage, this is another phenomenal new band line-up.”
Carnabells have been added to the Festival Republic Stage after winning the Futuresound Competition. Crybabycry, Tabloids, Forever Cult, Allusondrugs and Vendettas have also been added to the bill.
This year’s Reading and Leeds festivals take place from August 22 to 24. The line-up includes Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182.
