Audioslave, with Chros Cornell on board, get to work...

AUDIOSLAVE, the band formed by the surviving members of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE alongside [a][/a] singer CHRIS CORNELL plan to release an album in November.

As previously reported, the band joined up with Cornell following the departure of founding rapper Zack De La Rocha to form Civilian. However, the project appeared to be doomed when the singer quit just before the group were set to tour with Ozzfest in the US.

Now, the remaining members of the group, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk are working with Cornell again, and have renamed the band Audioslave.

MTV news reports that their currently untitled debut album is scheduled for release in the US on November 19, which would correspond to the day before in the UK.

The first single is also titled ‘Cochese’, although a release date for that is also unconfirmed. A video will be filmed at the end of the month in LA.
