They team up again after the former Soundgarden man walked out...
The surviving members of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE are back in the studio with ex-[a][/a] singer CHRIS CORNELL.
As previously reported, the band joined up with Cornell following the departure of founding rapper Zack De La Rocha to form Civilian. However, the project appeared to be doomed when the singer quit just before the group were set to tour with Ozzfest in the US.
Now, the remaining members of the group, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk are working with Cornell again, and have renamed the band Audioslave.
A release date for the album is currently unconfirmed. However, tracks recorded under the Civilian name recently circulated on the internet. The new songs are said to be different to those leaked.
