Axis Of Justice release an album on election day...

An AXIS OF JUSTICE benefit show in LOS ANGELES is being released as a live album on US election day.

The live album and DVD ‘Axis Of Justice: Concert Series Volume 1’ will be released on November 2.

Recorded at the LA Avalon, the show was part of the series of benefits in aid of the non-profit organisation founded by Tom Morello (Soundgarden[/a]) in an effort to unite concerned musicians, music fans and grassroots political organisations to fight for social justice.

And the pair roped in a few of their famous friends for the show, including Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jurassic 5. Morello himself appears as ‘The Nightwatchman’.

As well as the concert there is a special cover of Nick Lowe’s ‘(What’s So Funny About) Peace Love and Understanding’ donated by Chris Cornell ([a][/a] / Audioslave) and Maynard James Keenan (Tool).
