German metallers join Iron Maiden in topping the bill at the Donington Bash
The german industrial metallers will headline the festival on June 16 this summer and join Iron Maiden in topping the bill. The metal veterans were confirmed to headline the event themselves yesterday (September 20).
Speaking about the booking, Download Festival organiser Andy Copping said: “We’re very excited to welcome Rammstein to Donington for the very first time. They are an epic live act and a perfect Sunday headliner to cap off what is shaping up to be yet another fantastic Download festival.”
Download Festival will take place from June 14-16 2013 at Donington Park, with tickets going onsale a week on Friday (September 28).
The festival was headlined by Metallica, Black Sabbath and The Prodigy in 2012, with the likes of Chase & Status, You Me At Six, Biffy Clyro, Soundgarden, Machine Head, Rise Against, Slash and Megadeth also performing across the weekend.
