Woman arrested in death of ex-Ramones manager

Linda Stein’s personal assistant reportedly bludgeoned her boss to death

A 26-year old woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of former Ramones co-manager Linda Stein.

Natavia Lowery, Stein’s personal assistant “made statements implicating herself” in the death of Stein, who was found dead in her Upper East Side apartment on October 30.

According to a report in the New York Times, Lowery said Stein “just kept yelling at her”. She is being held in a Lower East Side police station, with charges pending.

After her stint as a music manager, Linda Stein, who was once married to label executive Seymour Stein went on to become a successful real-estate agent, and her clients included Bruce Willis, Madonna and Calvin Klein.

Elton John is reportedly planning a concert in her memory.
