The band debut their new single for fans, in their own rehearsal room...

RAZORLIGHT treated a handful of fans to the live debut of their new single ‘SOMEWHERE ELSE’ yesterday (March 11).

100 friends, fanclub members and NME competition winners were treated to an intimate performance, ahead of the re-scheduled UK tour, at Razorlight’s secret HQ – their Acton rehearsal space.

It was the band’s first show since they were forced to halt their US tour and postpone their British dates due to frontman Johnny Borrell’s throat complaint.

Despite only being scheduled to play a six-song set, the band ended up playing 15, in a set that drew heavily from their catalogue of B-sides.

Borrell told NME.COM: “That was the live debut of ‘Somewhere Else’, so that was good. I could have played all night but I didn’t want to rush it, being the first night back.

“It was great to play some B-sides because I put everything into their songs as well but they don’t get played, so it was nice to get the chance. It’s pretty heartwarming.”

The setlist was:

’Don’t Go Back To Dalston’

’Rock’n’Roll Lies’

’Keep The Right Profile’

’Golden Touch’

’Somewhere Else’

’For Georgia At The Hammersmith Working Men’s Club’

’Stumble And Fall’

’In The City’

’Losing Your Mind’

’When He Was 20’

’Bright Lights’
