Bassist Carl Dalemo wants to get in on the planning…

Razorlight are to expand the blueprint for their second album.

As previously reported by NME.COM, singer Johnny Borrell and drummer Andy Burrows have outlined how they want the follow-up to ‘Up All Night’ to sound and have sealed the details away in an envelope.

But now bassist and DVD cover star Carl Dalemo has revealed that he wants to add his thoughts. He told NME.COM: “I haven’t seen Andy and Johnny’s blueprint. I should probably do one myself and put it in the same envelope and see how right I was. I don’t know what they did but I think they wrote the songs down they thought would be on the album.”

He added: “We’re supposed to get a rehearsal space during the summer. We’ll be writing and recording as well as doing festivals and gigs.

“We played a few new songs on tour in America and they went well. But we’re not going to rush it though because we will make a good album. I’m not saying that we’re going to wait three years – probably next year. I think we’re going to record it after the summer.”
