The star puts the incident in Denver down to

JOHNNY BORRELL has walked offstage during a concert in DENVER.

Razorlight are currently on the road in North America in support of their debut album ’Up All Night’.

According to fans at the show at the Larimer Lounge in Denver on Saturday (January 22), the singer left the stage after five songs and didn’t return.

One fan told NME.COM: “The rest of the band announced that he was not going to come back, and that was the end of the show. They went out into the crowd and apologised to just about everyone, saying that we should get a refund.”

Speaking to fans on the band’s official website, Johnny put his inability to play down to “extreme stage fright”.

He added: “I can’t really explain it. I will play for free next time we come back here, which I hope will be in April.”

Razorlight play their biggest ever UK shows next month, calling at:

Manchester Carling Apollo (February 4-5)

Glasgow Carling Academy (6-7)

London Alexandra Palace (11-12)
