Johnny Borrell tells NME.COM of his surprise future plans...
Razorlight JOHNNY BORRELL has told NME.COM he is writing a screenplay and novel.
The singer said he’s currently working on the script and soundtrack for his first film, which will be about a guy who lives in London.
He said: “It’s called ‘This Man’ and I’m still writing it. I don’t know if I’ll be in it but obviously we’re going to get Harry Potter to play the 16 year-old drug dealer! It’s based on a really inspiring guy that I know. It’s about his strength of living and how he lives in the city. I think he was too rock’n’roll to ever make it, if you know what I mean.”
The band play this year’s Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals in August before heading off on the NME Rock ‘N Roll Riot Tour in October.
