Razorlight announce Björn Agren and Carl Dalemo’s replacements

Gus Robertson and Freddie Stitz have joined Johnny Borrell's band

Razorlight have unveiled the replacements for guitarist Björn Agren and bassist Carl Dalemo.

The band released a photograph of their new line-up yesterday (January 27) as their Guilfest headline slot in July was announced.

Now, following the confirmation of the two founding members’ departures, they have announced that Gus Robertson is the band’s new guitarist while Freddie Stitz is playing bass. David ‘Skully’ Sullivan Kaplan, who replaced Andy Burrows on drums in 2009, continues in the band.

“We can officially confirm that founder members Björn Agren and Carl Dalemo agreed on an amicable parting following unproductive early recording sessions for a new album late last year,” the band said in a statement.

As well as Guilfest, Razorlight will headline Haddowfest Festival at Edinburgh‘s Corn Exchange on April 3 as well as an as-yet unannounced “large-scale London outdoor event”.
