Razorlight album due out this year

Johnny Borrell says new record is sounding 'fucking incredible'

Razorlight have revealed their third studio album will be out later this year.

Initially billed as being a solo show by Borrell, the full band took some time out of the studio last night (June 3) to play a short set at the London Science Museum for The Big Ask to highlight climate change issues.

Speaking to NME.COM lead singer Johnny Borrell revealed: “We’re just making the album at the moment – we’re having an amazing time making the record.”

The new record, the follow up to the band’s 2006 self-titled second album, should be coming out later this year.

Borrell said of the new album: “It’s sounding fucking incredible and it’s practically finished – I think it’ll definitely be out this year.”
