New Young Pony Club get NME/Radio 1 Tent dancing

Band new rave it up at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival

New Young Pony Club played a high-energy set this afternoon (August 26) at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival, in the NME/Radio 1 Tent.

Wearing a baggy white top and skirt, singer Tahita Bulmer got the crowd dancing by leading her band through a half-hour set of songs mainly culled from their debut album, ‘Fantastic Playroom’.

‘The Bomb’ and ‘Get Lucky’ got the crowd clapping and dancing along, before a rapturously-received ‘Ice Cream’, during which Bulmer grabbed the microphone stand and pointed it into the crowd, prompting mass cheering, before her band left the stage.
