Arcade Fire, Bloc Party and Smashing Pumkpins preparing sent festival off
Bands and fans are gearing up for the last day of the Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals, with Smashing Pumpkins and the Red Hot Chili Peppers set to close events at the two sites.
Gym Class Heroes will kick things off on the main stage at Reading, while Paramore do the honours in Leeds.
Funeral For A Friend, Lostprophets and Nine Inch Nails will bring the rock to the main stage at Reading, before Smashing Pumpkings close the festival with a headline set.
Meanwhile, in Leeds, The Shins, Bloc Party and Arcade Fire will perform before Red Hot Chili Peppers bring things to a close.
Beyond the main stage in Reading, Klaxons headline the NME/Radio One Stage, playing after the likes of CSS, Jamie T and The Maccabees.
Over on the Carling Stage The Hold Steady headline, following Seasick Steve, Maps and Kate Nash, who is sure to draw a huge crowd as she has done for her previous festival appearances this year.
In Leeds Scottish guitar heroes The View headline the NME/Radio One stage, playing after We Are Scientists, Biffy Clyro, The Twang and The Young Knives, who are expected to showcase songs from their recently recorded new album.
On the Carling Stage Hot Hot Heat headline, with Battles, Tokyo Police Club and math-rock stars Foals playing afternoon slots.
