Jamie T dedicated a song to his bassist during his performance tonight (August 24) at the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival.
Before ’Calm Down Dearest’ the singer pointed out his bassist’s strange attire.
Jamie T said: “I’d like to dedicate this to my bassist. The one who’s wearing short shorts.”
Playing the NME/Radio 1 Stage, the singer was watched by members of Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem’s mainman James Murphy and Devendra Banhart.
The crowd were screaming: “Jamie T!” in between songs, and they were rewarded by the singer saying: “How are you doing Leeds?”
The biggest crowd reaction came from ’Calm Down Dearest’ and ’Back In The Game’, which saw the crowd almost outsing the Thamesbeat troubadour.
