Even Lock-Up Stage isn't immune to 'Hey There Delilah'
Plain White T’s played to a stuffed Lock Up stage this afternoon (August 24) at Carling Weekend: Reading Festival.
Opening with ‘Our Time Now’, the Chicago band packed out one of the smallest stages at the festival, the crowd spilling out into the hot afternoon sun as the band made their way through an emo-tastic nine song set.
Dedicating ‘So Damn Clever’ to all the girls in the crowd, the band followed up the track with ‘Hate’ which singer Tom Higgenson dedicated to “those guys who have to put up with those girls,” remarking “It’s tough, right?”
During penultimate track solo acoustically, number one US single ‘Hey There Delilah’, Higgenson inspired a massive sing-a-long from the crowd before leaving them with ‘Take Me Away’.
