Jimmy Eat World play second set at Carling Weekend: Reading Festival

The US band play 'encore' after two-and-a-half hours

Jimmy Eat World played their second set in a day (August 24) at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival tonight.

Having played on the main stage this afternoon, the band headlined the Lock-Up Stage this evening.

The band clearly revelled in their two sets, earlier telling NME.COM in a video interview that the festival was among the world’s best events.

Packing the tent to the rafters, there was plenty of crowd surfing and sing-a-longs as the band played the gig which they termed as an “encore after a two and half hour delay” following their earlier set.
