Festival-goers offered conservation trips abroad

Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festival attendees can take part

Music fans who went to the Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals earlier this year are eligible to apply for a new conservation project.

Successful applicants will have travel, accommodation and living expenses paid for trips to locations such as Bosnia and Thailand.

The scheme is organised by Cradle, a charity which organises community development in deprived areas around the world and Festival Republic, organisers of the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals.

On the trips volunteers will undertake conservation and development work in deprived areas. More information can be found at Cradle.org.uk.
