Red Hot Chili Peppers promoting ‘I’m With You’ through cryptic street art

Band have hired Mr. Brainwash to help push their 10th album

Red Hot Chili Peppers have commissioned street artist Mr. Brainwash to cover Los Angeles in cryptic street art to promote their new album ‘I’m With You’, according to reports.

According to TMZ, the artist, whose real name is Thierry Guetta, has said that the punk funk band have hired him to promote ‘I’m With You’ as well as for a host of other projects.

Brainwash came to prominence, through his role as the subject of British graffiti artist Banksy‘s Oscar nominated documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have not commented on the street art or confirmed they have commissioned it. ‘I’m With You’, the band’s 10th studio album, is due for release on August 30. The first single from the album, ‘The Adventure Of Raindance Maggie’, will come out on July 18.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are due to tour Europe in October and December.
