Red Hot Chili Peppers set to screen first ‘I’m With You’ show in cinemas – video

Band will debut 10th studio album on the silver screen

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that they will be screening their first gig showcasing new album ‘I’m With You’ in cinemas.

The Los Angeles punk funkers will play their tenth studio album in its entirety as well as a selection of greatest hits. This will be screened in cinemas on August 30, the same day as the album is released in the US.

‘I’m With You’ is the band’s first album since 2006’s double LP ‘Stadium Arcadium’ and is also the band’s first with former Warpaint man Josh Klinghoffer on guitar. He replaced longtime player John Frusciante in 2009.

The band recently announced a UK and Ireland arena tour for November, which will take in nine shows, including two nights at London‘s O2 Arena.
