And it's "diverse and dynamic good feeling shit" apparently...

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have written and recorded an album’s worth of “the most diverse and dynamic good feeling shit” of their career.

The band have recently been in the recording studio and intended to produce two new songs for the forthcoming ‘Greatest Hits’ album, due for release later in the year.

“Instead we wrote and recorded 15 songs and they rock,” bassist Flea said. In a posting on the band’s official website [url=], he explained, “We played a wide variety of music arranged into song format that is among the most diverse and dynamic good feeling shit we have ever done, at least how that feels to me.”

Flea added, “We gave it no thought. We just rocked and it worked well, it is the fastest we have ever recorded so much material. It was the way to go, I can’t wait for y’all to hear it. No thinking just rocking.”

As previously reported, Flea told NME.COM at last weekend’s V Festival (August 16-17): “We’re ready to rock… I love the new songs. (They) sound like Bulgarian pygmies if you crossed them with Transylvanian choir groups. It pretty much sounds like that.”
