ANTHONY KIEDIS, singer with RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, is to release an autobiography titled ‘SCAR TISSUE’.
The 40-year old rock veteran will talk openly about his drug addiction in the book, which will be co-written by Larry Sloman, who collaborated with shock jock Howard Stern on his tome’Private Parts’.
The book, expected to be released late next year, will coincide with the bands 20th anniversary.
The band, currently on a sold-out tour in the UK with [a][/a], will be re-releasing their first four albums next week.
‘Mothers Milk’, ‘Red Hot Chilli Peppers’, ‘Freaky Styley’ and ‘The Uplift Mofo Party’, will be reissued on March 11 on the band’s first label EMI.
As reported on NME.COMearlier today (March 7), all 80,000 tickets for the group’s Slane Castle shows in Ireland on August 23 sold out in two-and-a-half hours.
