Flea plays backward weirdo in Liar's Poker...

RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS bassist Flea has his first starring role in new US indie film Liar’s Poker, which has just opened in America.

A complex murder mystery about four men who go on a fishing trip and only one comes back alive, Flea plays a backward misfit. He has already had film roles as one of the German nihilists in the Coen BrothersThe Big Lebowski and in Gus Van Sant‘s My Own Private Idaho.

First time director Jeff Santo is already being hailed as the find of the year by US movie critics. The film opens in the UK next year.
