RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have announced details of two charity shows in NEW YORK and LA.
According to the band’s official website, [url=]www.redhotchilipeppers.com, the band will perform alongside Neil Young And Crazy Horse on March 1 at the Hollywood Palladium. Their performance is part of a benefit for longtime friend and drugs counsellor Gloria Scott. Ex-Jane’s Addiction mainman Perry Farrell will also DJ at the event.
In addition, [url=]www.sonicnet.com reports that the band will also play at a fundraiser on March 14 at the Irving Plaza in New York in aid of the Robin Hood Foundation. RHF are an umbrella organisation who work to prevent child poverty.
Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently in the process of finalising live appearances in Europe for the summer. The band have confirmed one date at the Prins Van Oranjehal in Utrecht, Holland, on August 23 and it is rumoured they will return to the UK for a headline appearance at this year’s V2001 festival.
